Number Puzzles

Children love puzzles! Number puzzles are a fun way to help your child learn to count to larger numbers. We love making our own at home because you can tailor the puzzle to your child’s ability level.

To make the puzzle:

1) Number a set of Unifix cubes (or Duplo blocks, legos, post-its, etc) to a number slightly higher than what you child can comfortably count to (picture 1)

2) Try to make every set of 10 the same color (picture 1) in order to make it easier for your child to locate the numbers within a group of 10

3) Mix them up (picture 2)

4) And let your child put them back together!
